The position, stated plainly

foxvideochat is for people aged 18 and over. There is no younger tier, no supervised mode, and no exception for a minor using it with a parent present.

Any content involving a minor, and any attempt to engage sexually with someone who appears to be a minor, results in immediate permanent removal and may be referred to the appropriate authorities. This is the one area where there is no warning step.

What we actually do

Being specific about the mechanisms, rather than saying "we take safety seriously":

An 18+ requirement

Stated in the terms and on the way in. It is a declaration, not an identity check — we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Report on every match

One tap, during the chat, going straight to moderation. Reports about a suspected minor are prioritised.

Round-the-clock moderation

Reports are read continuously rather than during office hours.

Permanent removal

Not a suspension. Accounts removed on this basis are not reinstated on appeal.

No recording

Chats are not stored, which means there is no library of footage that could ever be exposed or requested.

The limits, honestly

A site that claims it can guarantee no minor ever reaches it is not being straight with you. Age declaration can be lied to. What we can do is make the rule unambiguous, make reporting fast, act on every report without hesitation, and remove permanently rather than warn.

This is why user reports matter here more than on most services. If something looks wrong, reporting it is not an overreaction — it is the mechanism working.

Reporting a concern

During a chat, use the in-chat report — it is the fastest route. Afterwards, or if you cannot use it, write to us through contact and put something like "child safety" in the subject line so it is not read in ordinary order.

Include roughly when it happened and your timezone. Chats are anonymous, so the time is often the only way to locate the session. Please describe what you saw rather than attaching it — do not send, save or forward material involving a minor to us or to anyone else.

If a child appears to be in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or child protection service first. They can act at a speed we cannot, and they should be the first call rather than the second.

For parents

If you have found this site in a young person's browser history, the accurate answer is that they should not be on it, and the site is not built to have them on it.

Every major operating system and browser includes parental controls that can block a site by name, and those work regardless of what any individual service does about age. They are more reliable than trusting a declaration checkbox — including ours.
