What belongs to us

The name foxvideochat, the logo, the site design, the code behind it and the written content on these pages belong to us or to our licensors. Using the service does not transfer any of it, and it may not be copied, rebranded or republished as someone else's.

Linking to us is welcome and needs no permission. Quoting a short passage with attribution is fine. Reproducing whole pages is not.

What belongs to you

What you say and show in a chat stays yours. We do not claim ownership of your likeness or your words, and because chats are not recorded there is nothing of yours sitting in our systems afterwards.

The permission you do grant is narrow and practical: the right to transmit what you send to the person you are talking to, and to review it if it is reported. That is the extent of it.

Reporting infringement

If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright you own or represent, write to [email protected] with "copyright" in the subject line.

A complaint we can act on needs all of the following. Missing pieces are the usual reason something sits unresolved:

• Identification of the work you say is infringed.
• The exact URL on this site where the material appears. "Somewhere on your site" is not something we can locate.
• Your name and a contact address we can reply to.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder, an agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your signature, electronic or physical.

Material found to infringe is removed. Repeat infringement results in loss of access to the service.

If your content was removed by mistake

Notices are sometimes wrong, and the process is not complete without a way to say so. Write to the same address with:

• Identification of what was removed and where it was.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, contact address, and consent to the jurisdiction that applies to you.
• Your signature.

Both a complaint and a counter-notice are legal statements. Filing one you know to be false can carry liability — that warning is not decoration.

Complaints that are not copyright

Someone behaving badly in a chat is a conduct matter, not a copyright one — use the in-chat report, or see the community guidelines. Someone recording or redistributing you without consent is against the rules regardless of who owns the copyright; report it the same way. Anything involving a minor goes to child safety and should be sent immediately.
