If it is happening right now

Do not write to us mid-chat. The controls on screen are faster, and the report button is what moderation actually reads.

Skip
One tap. No confirmation, no reason required, and the other person is not told why. Do this first — you can always report afterwards.
Report
On the match itself, not buried in a settings menu. This is the route into moderation.
Block
Permanent. That person will not come back around in a later match.

If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. We cannot act at that speed and we are not a substitute for them.

Writing to us

One address, read by a person: [email protected]. There is no ticket system to navigate and no phone line — one address that works beats three that do not.

Write in whatever language you are comfortable in. Reports, questions, privacy requests and press enquiries all arrive at the same place.

What makes a report actionable

Chats here are anonymous, which is good for you and awkward for investigations. These details are what let us find what happened:

  • Roughly when it happened, and your timezone. There are no usernames on an anonymous match, so time is often the only handle we have.
  • What happened, in plain words. One or two sentences is enough — you do not owe us a report format.
  • Whether you already used the in-chat report button. If you did, say so and we can connect the two.
  • Anything that was visible on screen and stuck in your memory.

What we do not need: screenshots of anything explicit. Describe it instead. Sending the material along makes it harder for us to handle, not easier.

What we cannot do

Being straight about the limits, so nobody waits on an answer that is not coming:

  • We cannot retrieve a chat for you. Nothing is recorded, so there is no footage to send — to you or to anyone else.
  • We cannot reconnect you with someone. Matching is random and there is no directory to search.
  • We cannot tell you what action was taken against another person. That is their account, not yours.
  • We cannot promise a response time. Reports are read; a same-day reply is not something we can commit to and we would rather say so than print a number we cannot keep.
